Uptick in scam calls
If you get a call from someone claiming to be Nucor Employee’s Credit Union and are asked for any of your login information to validate your identity or transaction, that is a scam.
If your caller ID shows our Nucor Employee’s Credit Union phone number, that could still be a fraud.
Caller ID spoofing is the practice of falsifying information about an incoming cal on the receiver’s caller ID display Scammers will manipulate the caller ID so that the call appears to be coming from a local or well-known phone number (like our phone number), making it more likely to be trusted or answered.
If you get a call from our 843-665-4668 number and the person on the line asks you for any of your login information, end the call immediately and call us directly
Nucor Employee's Credit Union will never call to verify any personal information over the phone. If you have any questions or concerns about any calls or texts you receive, please give us a direct call at (843) 665-4668 and we will be happy to assist you.
